Lektion.se

I have decided to tell you about a webpage called; Lektion.se.
Lektion.se is a webpage where teachers can create an account and look at different ways of teaching and get inspired. The webpage offers help and inspiration for the teachers to plan a fun and instructive lectures with variety.
Lektion.se offers lessons for all subjects, even lessons that can be used on smart-boards.The webpage is free and if you need material for the lecture it is just to print it out, it comes with the lecture. When I was out on teacher practice my supervisor used it a lot and she found it helpful to use new and interesting things that you might not hade thought about yourself.

How does it work?

The webpage is very easy to understand. The teacher creates an account and gets a password.
When you are logged on to the webpage you just fill in the subject of your choice. For example if you need a lecture in English you just type in English and start to look at the alternatives that comes up and pick the one that you want to work with. The lectures are already planed so the teachers just have to read what the instructions says, if the lecture needs material it can easy be printed out, you just open the file that comes with the lecture.
When looking for material teachers can type what age the pupils are and get age appropriate material, in that way the teachers can save time.


How can it be used by teachers?

When the teacher has found a lecture that they like they download it on their computer, which makes it easy for other teachers take part of the material. It is a good resource that helps the teachers save some time, and a fun way to get new inspiration.
Lektion.se also provides lectures for smart-boards, you can find a lot of lectures that is more fun then every day teaching, the pupils tends to like seeing and doing things on the smart-board, for example if you have biology and working with water, you can se what happens if it rains outsides, where do the water go?

How can it be used by students?

The webpage is most designed to help teachers, but if the students are going to hold a lecture they can also use it to get inspiration and ideas.

Other considerations

When chosen to use a lecture do not forget the materials that is provided.
Do not be afraid to try it, it is a smart and time saving solution.
