What the resource is …
I have chosen to look and examine the resource http://www.glosor.eu/ that is a free ICT resource. Glosor.eu is a page where pupils can practice there vocabulary that they have for homework. It is a fun page with many different ways of learning and training vocabulary. This page is a good practice page that fits all ages, you can find everything from simple exercises like colors to more difficult exercises like irregular verbs.

What you need to make it work...

If you would like to use this page it is okay to do that even if you do not have an account, but you cannot put in your own words that you would like to practice if you do not have an account. A good thing is therefor to make an account where you can save and practice your own vocabulary as well as someone else.

How thw resource can be used by teachers...

If teachers choose to work and use glosor.eu the teacher makes an account that is called “lärarkonto”. When using a “lärarkonto” the teacher can make and manage groups, make worksheets and exercises where the pupils can practice their vocabulary. Teachers can help each other and work together by using their “lärarkonto”. When teachers are helping each other they do that through groups that the teachers are administer in. In the groups the teachers link information and exercises to each other. The teachers can make a group for his/her own class and post exercises that the pupils can take advantage of when they have to learn vocabulary.

Glosor.eu looks very serious at mobbing and therefore if the bulling happens on the homepage teachers, parents or the child that gets mobbed can send a mail to golsor.eu. Glosor.eu will then examine the bulling mail and decide if the bully should be suspended from the page.

Glosor.eu is a free ITC-resource if persons use it over internet. If persons however would like to use this resource over his/her smartphone they have the opportunity to download the app for 15 Swedish crowns as a once for all cost.
